The doors to MagicCon: Philadelphia open TOMORROW! We can’t wait to see you all at the show, and hope you’re ready for a weekend full of Magic: The Gathering fun! From the incredible panel schedule, non-stop tournaments, new autograph signing schedule, phenomenal cosplay contest, and the amazing on demand events, MagicCon is gearing up to be one of the best events in Magic history!

Below we have some final event updates and reminders to share with you all ahead of your arrival on site. 

MagicCon: Philadelphia has a mask mandate! Please ensure to wear an approved face covering at all times when inside the venue. You can read more about our Health & Wellness here.

For those who were unable to purchase a badge before January 27th, you can pick up your badge at Registration/Will Call, located in the Grand Hall on Level 2. Please enter on Market St between 11th and 12th. Registration/Will Call is open:

• Thursday, February 16, 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM 
• Friday, February 17, 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM
• Saturday, February 18, 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM
• Sunday, February 19, 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Are you planning on joining us for MagicCon: Philadelphia but don’t have a badge yet? You can purchase one onsite during the Box Office hours:

• Friday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturday: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Sunday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Each badge type has a limited quantity, once they sell out they will be gone so we recommend you purchase your badge online as soon as possible to avoid disappointment!

If you purchased a Command Zone daily or weekend add-on, or are attending the show as a Special Guest, you will need to pick up your access wristband when you arrive. Please visit Registration/Will Call at the hours listed above. You will need your purchase confirmation email and a photo ID. 

If you’re a Black Lotus, Commander VIP or Content Creator badge holder, you do not need to get a wristband at Registration/Will Call. Your badge will grant you access to the CZ all weekend. This does not include any +1s.  

We know that everyone is excited to see what will be available at the MagicCon Show Store! The store will be open from 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM each day while Exhibit Hall A is open.

We are excited to share that we will have a Shopify Site available for those who can’t join us in Philadelphia but want to shop some of the event merch! This site will be open to the public tomorrow morning, keep an eye out on @PlayMTG on Twitter for details on how to access the site! 

Did you know that all proceeds from the Saturday night Un-Known Event with Gavin Verhey go to Black Girls CODE!? Boosters, fun, chaos, and unique gameplay are at the heart of the Unknown experience! Enjoy the event that is never the same twice as Gavin Verhey leads everyone down a Magical path of extraordinary gameplay mixed with a variety of Magic card goodness. Entry is $60 and it's filling up so secure your spot today!

Additionally, Ultra PRO/MTG Proshop have created a Black is Magic Playmat featuring the Sol Ring Secret Lair card art by Thomas Zenteno. The product will be on sale in limited quantities from both Ultra Pro and the Black Girls CODE at MagicCon: Philadelphia, available to order at each booth, or available to order online at mtgproshop.com through the end of February. The Playmat is $26.99 and $18 of each mat will go directly to Black Girls CODE.

Beadle & Grimm’s Behold New Phyrexia Limited Edition Set is open for Pre-order at 9AM PT online on February 18th, but we are excited to share that MagicCon attendees will have the ability to pre-order the set onsite at MagicCon through the weekend at the Beadle & Grimm booth (4230)! Pre-orders on site are limited to one per person and will be facilitated on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.

Have you seen our incredible tournament schedule? You may register online for any scheduled event up to two hours prior to the start of the tournament. Registration for all tournaments will close exactly two hours prior to start time or when capacity is reached.  Registration for scheduled events must be done online. Onsite registration is only available for on-demand events.

Each tournament has a capacity limit, and once it’s full there will no longer be an opportunity to register and participate. We strongly recommend you register for tournaments as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

All badges have shipped! If you received your badge in the mail, please be sure to activate it prior to coming to the event. The sooner you do that, the faster you will be able to enter MagicCon: Philadelphia. For instructions on how to activate your badge, click here. Please keep your badge safe and secure at all times, lost badges may be replaced onsite for full retail value. 

If your badge does not arrive before February 17th, please contact [email protected] prior to arriving onsite. We will be happy to assist you with a complimentary replacement.
